What is a refrigerant leak check form for?
It records the checks, measurements, replaced parts and findings on a single sheet. By comparing values at the next maintenance, faults are noticed early; the form is used as a document in audit and warranty processes.
How is the form filled in?
First the facility and equipment details are written in, and the maintenance type is marked. For each item in the checklist, the suitable, not suitable or done box is ticked; measurements are written with their units. After completing the findings and recommendations section, the form is signed by the technician and the facility representative.
How long should maintenance forms be kept?
Forms should be kept as maintenance history for the life of the equipment. In public and corporate contracts, the retention period is stated in the contract and specification; refrigerant leak check records are also entered into the EKOMVET system.
