The goal of contract maintenance is to prevent breakdowns, not wait for them. At the start of the contract, all units are inventoried, each is assigned a maintenance schedule, and every visit is reported with measurements. Your budget is fixed at the start of the year and unexpected costs go down.

Consumables (filters, belts, etc.) can be included; major parts are invoiced separately at discounted contract prices.
