Most split air conditioner faults come from dirty filters, clogged drains, low refrigerant, or control board and sensor problems. Regular maintenance preserves efficiency and prevents complaints such as bad odors and water leaks. In multi-split systems, piping and charge calculations are also important for balanced indoor unit operation.

Frequently asked questions
How often should a split air conditioner be serviced?
Once a year is recommended for homes and twice a year for heavily used offices and stores. Users can clean the filters themselves once a month.
Why does AC refrigerant run low?
Refrigerant does not decrease on its own; if it is dropping, there is a leak. A recharge done without finding the leak will soon empty again.
How many BTUs of AC should I buy?
It depends on room area, orientation, glazing and intended use. We calculate the heat load during the site survey and recommend the right capacity.
Multi-split system or separate split air conditioners?
Multi-split is an advantage when outdoor unit space is limited; separate splits are more flexible because a fault does not affect all rooms. We compare both during the site survey.
